Turret Scales Almost every competitor has, at one time or another, turned the windage or elevation adjustment turret in the wrong direction. You can imagine what that does to your score! |

|
So Here is the Problem... We think one of the reasons this is done so often is the way that the factory elevation and windage turret scales are laid out. When looking at the elevation turret of the Vari-X scope from behind the gun, you can see only the zero number and a small indistinct arrow with the letter 'U' beside it. There's just too much figuring required to come up with the correct adjustment to get the right results. Note Leupold has changed the elevation knob for the Leupold Mark IV... now it looks just like a MilCun replacement turret! The windage turret scale is even more confusing. With it set at zero, you can see the zero number and a small indistinct arrow with the letter 'R' beside it. If you put on three minutes of right wind, the scale will read '3', which is fine. BUT... if you put on three minutes of LEFT wind, the scale will read '12'. Now try to keep track of all this and make correct adjustments in a hurry... and under stress! |
And Here is the Solution... for the Leupold Vari-X MilCun has made these adjustments simple and therefore, more likely to be done correctly. We can provide you with modified turret scales that simply replace the existing Leupold target turret scales.

And for the Leupold Mark 4...

Mag Boot fitted on to a 20-round mag |
MilCun
Magazine Boots
Convert your 20-round mags to 30-round length! Service Rifle Competition in Canada allows the use of a magazine that is the length of a 30-round magazine, a real advantage in prone and standing positions. Many competitors have the shorter 20-round mags and are competing at a disadvantage. The MilCun mag boot fits over the bottom of the mag and increases it to competition length. It also provides a more stable base and a slightly larger footprint, adding to the competitive advantage. Made of solid hard plastic. We fit the boot to your individual mags. |
